The Robotic Angioplasty facility was inaugurated by the Governor of West Bengal, Jagdeep Dhankhar. He inaugurated this facility in a program of Rajasthan Hospital in Jaipur on Friday. He witnessed the Live Robotic Angioplasty performed by Dr. Ravinder Singh Rao, President, of RHL Heart Center and said that the new technology will further enhance human excellence.

The hospital authorities claimed that this is the first robotic angioplasty facility in North India. At the same time, addressing the people after the inauguration of the Facilitation Center, Jagdeep Dhankhar said that this innovative technology will further improve human excellence. He said that the disease can happen to anyone. However, making the treatment of the sick affordable and providing world-class technology like robotic angioplasty to the patients is very important. Dhankhar said that it is a matter of pride for all of us. Due to the accuracy of the stent, this heart centre has emerged as a centre of excellence.

Robotic angioplasty reduces the need for additional stents

Dr. Ravinder Singh Rao, Cardiologist of RHL Heart Center did the Robotic Angioplasty live and after that, he spoke on it. Ravinder Singh Rao said that robotic angioplasty reduces the need for additional stents in 10 per cent of cases. In addition, the radiation exposure for the patient is also reduced by up to 20 per cent compared to normal angioplasty.

Dr. Sudhir Bhandari, Vice-Chancellor, Rajasthan University of Medical Sciences says that robotic angioplasty with utmost accuracy will not only benefit patients from Rajasthan but also from different states of North India. The program was attended by Dr. Virendra Singh, President of Rajasthan Hospital, along with Chairman Dr. SS Agarwal and eminent cardiologists from various medical institutions.
