Yogesh Jadaun, a resident of Karauli, had filed a case in the police station that he was returning home from school on 29 November. Meanwhile, two girls and four boys were drinking alcohol near the Anjani Mata temple at 2.30 pm.
When he stopped them from drinking alcohol, a boy fired at him in which he was seriously injured. Rekha was also named in this case and she was absconding since then.
Jaipur East DCP Rajeev Pachar said that information was received from the informer about accused Rekha Meena, a resident of Karauli's Todabhim, that she is present in Jaipur.
After this the police raided the Jagatpura area and arrested her. Lady don Rekha Meena wanted in the case of attempt to murder, will now be handed over to the Karauli police.

Her mother has passed away and her father Kamal Meena works as a labourer. In January 2020, Rekha Meena came into the limelight when she threatened to kill history-sheeter Pappulal Meena. The video of the threat went viral on social media.
