Three-day Meeting in Jaipur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will digitally address a meeting of national office bearers of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) held in Jaipur on May 19.
BJP national office bearers meeting will be held on May 19, 20 and 21 at Hotel Leela Palace Kukas located in Amer assembly constituency of Jaipur.
On the evening of May 19, BJP national president JP Nadda will preside over the meeting of the party's national general secretaries.
BJP general secretary and state in-charge Arun Singh said on Wednesday that the main meeting of national office bearers will be held on May 20, which will be addressed online by PM Narendra Modi at 10 am.
He said that four sessions would be held on May 20 and the meeting would end with Nadda's address in the evening.
BJP general secretary Arun Singh said, 'The political situation of the country will be discussed in the three-day meeting. There will also be a conversation about strengthening the party at every booth.
136 office-bearers will attend the meeting, including party office-bearers, national-level general secretaries, treasurer, vice-president, and state president.
Nadda will reach Jaipur today i.e. Thursday at 4 pm. From the airport to the hotel, he will be greeted with enthusiasm by party leaders and workers.
On Wednesday evening, a meeting of the Rajasthan Core Committee of the BJP was held at the BJP headquarters, in which the preparations for the meeting were discussed.
In the core committee meeting, National General Secretary Arun Singh, State President Satish Poonia, State General Secretary (Organization) Chandrashekhar, Leader of the Opposition in the Assembly Gulab Chand Kataria, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Kailash Choudhary, Om Prakash Mathur, National General Secretary Alka Gurjar, Deputy Leader of Opposition Rajendra Rathod, State Vice President and MP CP Joshi and other leaders participated.
