The 28-year-old lady videotaped the harassment and uploaded it on her vlog, which drew the attention of cops.

Deepak , the accused, allegedly stalked the woman for some time after finding her alone at Pachetia Hill, a tourist attraction in the Jodhpur city, on Monday morning.

When she came to a halt to object, he raced in front of her, blocked her path, and dropped his trousers to show her his genitals. Stunned, the woman began running and yelling, and the accused bolted and vanished among the street mob.

The entire incident was captured on film and has been widely shared on social media.

Delhi Commission for Women appeals to Rajasthan’s CM

The Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) urged Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Tuesday to file a criminal case against a man accused of sexually abusing a Korean vlogger at a fort in Jodhpur.

The DCW has learned that a man harassed a Korean YouTuber in a fort in Jodhpur. Amrita Duhan, the Deputy Commissioner of Police for Jodhpur East, stated that the police initiated action on their own after viewing the footage of the harassment of the foreign national.

A complaint was filed under CrPC section 151 (arrest to prevent the commission of cognizable offences), and the accused was arrested on Monday, she said, adding that the person was found to be mentally unfit during the medical examination.

Deepak was a resident of a nearby community, and he is mentally ill and wanders around the city according to SHO (Sadar Kotwali) Dinesh Lakhawat.

What Delhi Commission for Women wrote in the letter

Not only did this incident grossly violate the rights of the girl, but it has also brought great shame to our nation. It has raised significant concerns about the safety and security of women, both domestic and foreign, within our community.

As a nation, we cannot allow such acts of harassment and violence to occur and must take immediate and effective actions to guarantee justice for the girl and prevent similar instances in the future.
