After the ever-increasing corona infection in Rajasthan, the administration has become active. After the guidelines of the Home Department, the Education Department has also issued a new guideline of Corona. Schools across the state will now have three shifts. Children of classes I to V will be called to study from 10 am to 3:45 pm. Children from classes 6 to 8 will be called to school from 10:15 am to 4 pm. Classes 9 to 12 have been kept in shifts from 10:30 am to 4:15 pm.
The Education Department of Rajasthan has also banned the opening of prayer meetings and canteens. RT-PCR test of students from outside states has been made mandatory. They will be kept in quarantine till the investigation report comes. The school where Covid positive will be found, that class will have to be closed for 10 days.
After the increase in the cases of Corona in the state, the Education Department has issued an order for a new Covid guideline. Now school management will not be able to force children to come to school. All schools will have to run online classes. Staff will be admitted only after screening. A distance of 2 yards and a mask will be mandatory.
There will be no prayer meetings in schools. The canteen will remain closed. The school will have to be sanitized every day. Crowded events will not be allowed. Bus, auto, and cab drivers will be required to get both doses of the Covid vaccine 14 days in advance. Given the situation, the power to make decisions has been given to the District Collector.
It will be mandatory for all the students to take written permission from their parents or guardians. Only then will you be able to study offline in school. If a parent does not want to send their child to school, the school will not be able to pressurize them to attend. Also, arrangements will have to be made for the online study of those children. Bus, auto, cab drivers, etc. coming to the institute are required to get both doses of the vaccine 14 days before. Students and staff will be allowed according to the seating capacity of the vehicle.
Arrangements for screening of all school staff and children will have to be made. No mask no entry is necessary. For regular classes, students will be seated at a distance of two yards. Prayer meetings and programs of any kind will not be allowed. From entry to exit in the main gate, social distance will be necessary for the campus, classes. The canteen will be closed till further orders. Classrooms, faculty rooms will be sanitized. Window doors must be kept open.
It has been said in the guidelines that the officers will continuously monitor. Corona guidelines will be followed in schools. School administration and head will be fully responsible. The Education Department will issue guidelines for educational activities. A nodal officer will be appointed to monitor the compliance of the corona protocol. The District Collector shall be authorized to close or prohibit any school, hostel, or educational institution.
