On the birth of the second child of the woman, the Rajasthan government will give an assistance amount of 6 thousand rupees. For better health of mother and maintenance of second child, the state government has launched Indira Gandhi nutrition scheme.
Women and Child Development Minister Mamta Bhupesh informed that Rs 225 crore will be spent in 5 years for adequate relief and nutrition to mothers. Under this scheme, 3.75 lakh women are proposed to be benefitted. As a pilot project, this scheme is initially being run in the tribal districts of Udaipur, Dungarpur, Banswara and Pratapgarh. Indicators of women's nutrition in these districts are lower than the medicines of the state. As the scheme has been started in these districts.
Under the pilot project, about 45 crore rupees will be spent every year involving 75 thousand beneficiaries. Under this scheme, after the birth of a second child, 6 thousand rupees will be given to the mother in different stages. This amount will be deposited in their account. The objective of the government is that the mother can nurture herself and the child properly.
On the other hand, on the initiative of the government, people associated with Jewelry Industries of Jaipur have said to train the laborers and work with them. To overcome the crisis of laborers who came suddenly after the migration of West Bengal artisans working in Jewelry Industries of Jaipur, now workers coming from other states will be trained here for jewelry work. Chairman of Jaipur Jewelers Association, Gaurav Jain said that now the laborers of the state will be trained here. With this, they too will not have to leave their home and we will also find working artisans.
