The Rajasthan government has taken a decision to provide relief to the people in view of the fast growing cases of black fungus, under which now the treatment of this disease will be free in the state.

Along with the corona, the risk of black fungus (mucormycosis) is increasing. In view of the increasing number of cases of fatal black fungus in Rajasthan, Ashok Gehlot's government has announced the treatment of black fungus in the entire state for free. State Medical and Health Minister Dr. Raghu Sharma said that the patients of black fungus in Rajasthan will be treated according to Covid. He said that this fungal infection has also been included in the Chiranjeevi scheme. According to the Health Minister, it is possible to treat this disease only if it is detected in the initial stages.

700 patients of black fungus came out in Rajasthan

Dr. Raghu Sharma said that so far around 700 patients of black fungus have been found in the state. According to the Health Minister, hospitals have been instructed to treat them as per government protocol. Black fungus medicines and its treatment rates have also been fixed in private hospitals. At present, 20 government and private hospitals have been listed for treatment of black fungus. At the same time, hospitals which will meet the standards as per government regulations will also be listed.

Separate ward is being treated for black fungus in the hospital

Let us tell you, that patients are being treated with prescribed protocols by making separate wards for black fungus at Sawai Mansingh Hospital, Jaipur. Apart from this, the health department teams are being sent for door to door survey in the areas affected by this disease. The Minister of Medicine and Health said that like the medicines of Corona, the medicines of Black Fungus have also been taken under the control of the Central Government. In such a situation, the state government is in constant contact with the Center for the supply of medicines.

Rajasthan government is coming up with a new scheme

The Rajasthan government is coming up with a new scheme for the dependents of those who lost their lives from Corona. For families whose earning member has died due to corona, the Gehlot government has decided to introduce a social security scheme. The roadmap for this social security policy is being prepared. Social security policy for the deceased dependents has been discussed in the meeting of the Council of Ministers. After this, the Chief Minister has announced to bring the policy. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has tasked departments to bring social security policy for dependents.

Under the Social Security policy, the family will be helped in the event of death of the earning member of the household and orphans of the children. Several departments will work together to form this policy, which will help the affected families by combining the schemes and programs of different departments. All the concerned departments including the Social Justice and Empowerment Department will jointly prepare the blueprint of the new scheme. According to official figures, so far 7500 deaths have occurred in the state from Corona. However, it is being told that in reality this figure is much more than this.

Benefits of Palanhar Scheme

Children below the age of 18 years of the corona dead will be given the benefit of the Palanhar Yojana. There is a provision to provide assistance of 500 rupees per month to children up to 5 years under the Palanhar scheme. After this, there is a provision to give 1000 rupees every month to the children up to the age of 18 years after going to school.

Survey started

To give benefit of the Palanhar scheme, the government has started a survey of the families of those who died from Corona. The Social Justice and Empowerment Department has given the task to the districts to prepare the applications for their Palanhar scheme after conducting the survey. Deadline has also been fixed to start payment of assistance amount within one month of the arrival of the application.

Social security policy too

The Government is preparing a Social Security Policy in case of death of a earning member of the household or death of both parents due to Corona. In this policy, the government will help in the living of the dependent family of the deceased. Work is going on to provide a package of personal benefits to the family of the deceased including cheaper rations, widow pension, giving money to the children every month under the Palanhar scheme.
