Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has decided to end the night curfew, which was imposed to curb the spread of coronavirus. At the review meeting held at the CM residence on Monday, it was decided to lift the night curfew and waive other sanctions in a phased manner. Now, the Home Ministry will issue a formal order in this regard. Till now, there was a night curfew in the state from 8 am to 6 am.
Ashok Gehlot gave information via Twitter:
Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said in a tweet, “At the Covid-19 review meeting at residence, the decision to end night curfew in the state and give some relaxation in a phased manner was taken but it will be important to adopt health protocols otherwise infection can grow once again. Such a situation should not arise that restrictions have to be adopted again.”

Night curfew ended in these 13 districts:
The state government on 21 November imposed a night curfew in Jaipur, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Kota, Bhilwara, Nagaur, Pali, Tonk, Sikar, Ajmer, Sriganganagar and Udaipur. Under this, except for the medical shops in the market, the remaining shops were required to close after 7 PM. The night curfew was in force from 8 PM to 6 AM.
