Rajasthan: Decision taken by CM to set up Committee to Resolve Disputes related to Recruitment

A committee will be formed to resolve the disputes related to educational qualification in the recruitment in various departments of the state government. CM of Rajasthan Ashok Gehlot has taken two decisions regarding regular recruitments. These instructions have been given to ensure the resolution of disputes regarding the educational qualification and equivalence related to the recruitment, regular recruitment of vacant posts in the departments, and timely completion of this process.

Disputes related to educational qualification in recruitments

CS issued circular: On the instructions of CM, Chief Secretary Niranjan Arya has issued circulars regarding the formation of the Educational Qualification and Educational Equivalence Committee under the chairmanship of the Head of Department and regular recruitments to remove the disputes related to educational qualification in recruitments. . According to which departmental officers, as well as nominated subject experts, will also be included in the committee.

Candidates who have done new courses will get the benefit

There is a provision of educational qualification according to the post in the service rules made for appointment to different posts in the state government. The desired educational qualification for these posts is 'Degree, Diploma or Course' as well as 'or it's equivalent'. At present, new courses are being started by various universities and educational institutions, which are 'similar' or 'equivalent' to the degree, diploma, or course related to the educational qualification of these posts. So It is practically not possible to include all these courses in the educational qualification of the particular post. This committee can act as an institutional mechanism to resolve any dispute.

The list will be put after checking the validity of the degrees

Special cells will be set up in the departments of Education, Higher Education, Technical Education, Medical Education, Medical and Health and Information Technology and Communication, etc. for certification of educational degrees, updating, and clarification of educational qualifications. So these cells will check the validity. However recognition of degrees issued by educational institutions and display their list on the departmental website.

Verification in 45 days after result declaration

The recruiting agencies must ensure that at least two times the number of candidates are invited to save time in the process of document verification. After the release of the result, the verification work will be completed in a maximum of 45 days. It can be extended up to 15 days if the number of vacancies is very large. After the issuance of the appointment order, the candidate will have to join the work within 3 weeks, otherwise, the appointment order will be deemed to be canceled.

Consent of Personnel Department is not necessary

According to the circular, the consent of the Personnel Department will not be necessary to initiate the recruitment process. To fill up the vacant posts. Counting of vacancies in respect of direct recruitment posts by all administrative departments will necessarily be completed by April 15. Vacancies were available on 1st April. Vacancies received till 15th April due to retirement, new post creation or any other reason will be included for calculation.

Recruitment organization before May 31

Based on the vacancies available by the department, after obtaining approval from the competent level. The meaning will be sent to RPAC, Subordinate Services Selection Board, or recruitment organization before May 31. So RPSC and Staff Selection Board will release the calendar for the upcoming year's recruitments.
