Rajasthan Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Ashok Gehlot made some mistakes while talking to the media that now his video is becoming quite viral on the internet. Indeed, Ashok Gehlot was talking to the media and was targeting the Center's NDA government, but accidentally twice in the NDA saga, the UPA has called the UPA. In this video, it is seen that responding to a question from the media, the Rajasthan CM says that "there is a lot of ambivalence in favour of the Congress and it is certain to be the end of the UPA Government". Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan standing there Sachin Pilot reminded him of the 'NDA'. Then Gehlot immediately corrected his mistake and said that the end of the NDA government is certain.
After this, Gehlot said that the NDA government, whose government is today, is sure to end and if the 'NDA' comes to the government then do not be surprised. After this, Ashok Gehlot fulfils his point of view and said that the coming of the UPA Government is certain and the alliance which is being formed is happening very well. There is a very good meeting. A meeting has happened. Everyone has the resolve that the two people (Amit Shah and Narendra Modi) are ruling the country, they have to be removed. He said that other BJP leaders including Nitin Gadkari have understood that nothing works out of nothing, nothing has been done.
How do you interpret the mandate received by the Congress in Rajasthan Ashok Gehlot?
The message given by Congress president Rahul Gandhi in Gujarat [during the Assembly elections] has appealed to the people in the country. He spoke about the false promise made by the NDA government at the Centre of giving employment to two crore people and its failure to do anything for farmers' welfare despite its promise to double their income by 2022. Their mandate was till 2019, but they are talking about 2022! Rahulji kept the focus on issues related to small and medium enterprises and the unorganised sector. He raised the Rafale issue during the election campaign, but the NDA government has not been able to reply to it till today. The themes of price rise and high petrol and diesel prices in the campaign convinced the people that Mr Gandhi wants to do something for the country. Mr Gandhi has also been talking about waiving farmers' loans. Farmers are the biggest sufferers under the present dispensation, and I believe that the government of any party will have to focus on farmers.
