The number of infected in the state increased to 413 on Thursday after 30 new cases of corona virus were reported in Rajasthan. Additional Chief Secretary (Health) Rohit Kumar Singh said that 7 new people from Jhalawar, 7 from Jhunjhunu, 7 from Tonk, 2 from Banswara, 5 from Pokaran and Jaisalmer, 2 from Barmer have been found infected with the corona virus. They reported that most of these patients were already in contact with someone found infected, or who had recently traveled somewhere. Apart from this, details are being taken in 2 cases of Barmer.
It should be noted that the corona virus has broken into havoc in Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. The state government is leaving no stone unturned to overcome the situation in Ramganj area of Jaipur. According to reports, 266 teams in Jaipur surveyed 1,16,773 people in 22,022 households. There is an indefinite curfew in this area and officials say that they are leaving no stone unturned in their efforts to improve the situation, whereas Rajasthan is one of the most affected states by this virus.
The number of people who died in the country due to Corona virus has reached 166 and the number of infected people has increased to 5,734. The Union Health Ministry said that 5,095 people are still infected while 472 people have recovered and they have been discharged from hospital and one person has left the country. The ministry said that 17 more people have died in the last 24 hours across the country. They said that 8 people died in Maharashtra, 3 in Gujarat, 2 in Jammu and Kashmir and one person each died in Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
