On Monday, the Sensex gained 21 points to close at 40,345.08 in the domestic stock market. While the Nifty closed up 11 points at 11,913.45 after a day's trading. There was a period of ups and downs during the opening hour business due to weak business trends, but in the last hour the market saw recovery from the low level.

Banking Shares

Bank Nifty closed 1.31 per cent higher by 1.27 per cent on the basis of buying in banking shares. The Nifty PSU bank index closed up 1.17 percent and the private bank index gained 1.38 percent. During the trading, there was a sharp purchase in shares of government companies on Monday.

Business started with a red mark

Earlier, the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) 30-share index Sensex opened at 40,216.50, down 7.11 points at nine in the morning and rose to 40,385.61 while dropping to 40,192.81 during early trading. Significantly, weak global signals worked to pressure the market. In the opening trade, shares of Sun Pharma, Cipla, HCL Technology, Nestle India declined. Let me tell you, the last trading day of the week in the country's stock markets was recorded on Friday.
