Eastern Railway Trade Apprentice Recruitment 2020: RRC Eastern Railway Kolkata has started the online application process for recruitment of 2792 posts. Candidates who have passed ITI with 10th standard can apply online. According to the official notification, online application started from 10.00 am. Through this recruitment process, a total of 2792 posts are to be filled in various departments. Remind you that the official notification for these posts was released in January 2020 and the process of application was to start from 27 January but it was further extended to 21 February. But after this it was again increased to 5 March.

The details of the posts will be filled for the post of Trade Apprentice Howrah Division, Sealdah Division, Malda Division, Asansol Division, Kanchrapara Workshop, Lilua Workshop, Jalampur Workshop. In these divisions and workshops there is a vacancy for the following posts:
Fitter
Welder
Mechanic (MV)
Mechanic (diesel)
Blacksmith
Carpenter
Lineman (general)
Refrigeration and AC Mechanic
Electrician
Mechanic Machine Tool Maintenance
Painter
Turner
Electronics mechanic
Wireman
Machinist
Diesel mechanic
Educational Qualification:
Passed 10th examination with minimum 50% marks from recognized institute or board + ITI certificate in related trade.
Age Limit:
The minimum age should not be less than 15 years and the maximum age limit should not be more than 24 years. In the maximum age limit, relaxation of three years will be given for OBC category, five years for SC / ST candidates and ten years for differently-abled persons.
Application fee:
Rs. 100 / – only. SC / ST / Divyang and women candidates will not have to pay any fee.
Selection Process:
Based on merit of marks obtained in educational qualification.
