Rahul Gandhi Said, We Did Not Break the Code of Conduct

He said that he had made a statement about BJP's anti-tribal policies.

Congress President Rahul Gandhi has sent a reply to the Election Commission on the allegations of the alleged code of conduct in the campaign for the Lok Sabha election 2019. In this 11-page reply, Rahul Gandhi made it clear that he and his party did not break the code of conduct in any campaign. Along with this, Rahul also requested the Election Commission not to discriminate with the Congress.

Rahul Gandhi said, "I am the star campaigner of the Congress, so the complaints that came against me are nothing more than just obstructing the election campaign. In the speeches, criticizing the functioning of the Modi government is not a violation of the code of conduct. ' On Rahul Gandhi's speech in Shahdol in Madhya Pradesh, he said that he had made a statement about BJP's anti-tribal policies. Therefore, the complaint should be canceled.

Rahul Gandhi while clarifying the Election Commission said that in the speech, he tried to explain the amendments made in the Indian Forest Law in easy language. They spoke this word in the rhythm of the election rally speech. There was no intention of misleading the public or spreading lies behind it. The Congress President also said that the Commission should take fair and balanced action against complaints coming against the leaders of political parties.
