In this tweet, Rahul Gandhi also took a dig at the Howdy Modi program in the US and linked the revenue deficit of 1.45 lakh crore to 'Howdy Modi' from the government. Rahul wrote that Howdy Modi program is going to be the most expensive event in the world.
The Congress leader wrote that but no event can hide this truth, where a program like Howdy Modi has taken over the Indian economy.
On one hand, Rahul Gandhi has raised questions on this decision, on the other hand, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has termed these decisions as historic. The PM tweeted and praised the Finance Minister for these decisions.
Significantly, the announcements made by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Friday include decisions like exemption in corporate tax, reduction in surcharge of capital gains.
