Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) spokesperson and MLA from Delhi Raghav Chadha has received a reply to reduce the oxygen quota of the base hospital. Raghav has written on his Twitter account that oxygen is being supplied to the base hospital in two ways.

One LMO ie liquid medical oxygen (through tanker) and cylinder. According to Raghav Chadha, the supply of LMOs is continuing. The cylinder had some problems, but now that too is complete. 110 cylinders of 01 metric ton have been sent to the base hospital. Apart from this, refilling of cylinders is also being given priority.

Delhi government reduced the Oxygen quota

Let me tell you, in the days to come to the base hospital of the Army, there is a possibility of lack of Oxygen. This is because the Delhi government reduced the Oxygen quota of the base hospital.

However, the Army says that there will be no shortage of Oxygen, but the Army has informed the Ministry of Defense about this and informed them about the reduced quota. Let us tell you that a day or two ago, the Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi wrote a letter to the Defense Minister asking for the army's help in the war against Corona in the capital.

If sources are to be believed, the Delhi government has cut the supply of oxygen of the base hospital at Delhi Cantt. Actually, the base hospital needs 3.4 mt oxygen daily. Despite this, up to 01 metric ton (MT) of oxygen was being supplied daily to the base hospital till now.

But from Tuesday the base hospital quota has been reduced to 0.42 MT. That is why the army sent an 'SOS message' to the Ministry of Defense in this regard. If sources are to be believed, now the army is also getting oxygen for this base hospital from a plant near Haridwar, so that there is no shortage of oxygen for the patients in any way.

The base hospital has a total of 650 beds with Oxygen facilities at 450

Giving official information, the Western Command of the Army said that, "sufficient quantity of oxygen is being supplied in the Base Hospital". The Western Command stated that "We want to assure all the soldiers, ex-troopers and their dependents that they will continue to help them." Let us tell you that the base hospital in Delhi Cantt of the Army has a total of 650 beds, with Oxygen facilities at 450 – in addition to 35 ICU beds.

It is worth mentioning that on Sunday, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia wrote a letter to Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and sought the army's help in fighting the war against Corona in the capital.
