For the past few days, the news is coming out that G-Pay is not safe for money transfer. In such a situation, most users have become confused about whether it is safe to keep Google Play on mobile or not. Apart from this, most consumers are also troubled by thinking whether their money is safe in G- Pay or not.
In 2017, Google entered the market of mobile payments segment and launched an app called Google Tez, which was renamed to G-Pay some time ago. With the help of this app, you can easily get money apart from sending money and can also pay bills, etc. to say that Google Pay is a big business app.
Google Pay has said that as per the procedure laid down under the guidelines of Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), transactions are done through its the platform is completely secure. This explanation of G-Pay came after the discussion on social media that the money transfer method is not allowed through it, because it is an unauthorized app.
A Google lecturer also said that G-Pay is completely within the purview of the law. G- Pay works as a technology service provider for payment to partner banks through UPI (Unified Payments Interface).
Google has said that the RBI has not said any such thing in the court hearing. Earlier this month, the RBI told the Delhi High Court that G-Pay is a third-party app provider and does not operate any payment system. The RBI also said that its operation is not a violation of the Payment and Settlement Systems Act of 2007.
