Punjab: By the end of this Financial year, State will Suffer a Financial Loss of Rs 30 Thousand Crore- CM Captain Amarinder Singh

The Captain said that according to preliminary estimates, there will be a loss of about 1 million jobs in the state and on the economic front the state is losing Rs 3,000 crore every month

Previously Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh has said that the state is expected to suffer a loss of Rs 50,000 crore due to the covid-19 lockdown. Now the Punjab Chief Minister said that by the end of this financial year, Punjab could suffer a financial loss of Rs 30 thousand crore.

The Captain said that according to preliminary estimates, there will be a loss of about 1 million jobs in the state and on the economic front the state is losing Rs 3,000 crore every month. Regarding increasing or ending the lockdown, the captain said that nothing could be said about the financial growth.

Regarding the Kartarpur corridor in response to a question, Captain Amarinder Singh said that the corona infection is spreading rapidly in Pakistan.

 No Sikh wants Khalistan.  Pannu is now directly involved in terrorism.  On the possibility of cabinet reshuffle, the Captain said that all ministers are doing good work.  There is nothing like that right now.  Right now the focus is on reducing Coronavirus infection.

On 18th May, CM said that some experts predict that the coronavirus epidemic will peak in July and August.  In such a situation, Punjab is preparing itself for the worst situation.  He said that the large number of migrants and return of Indians from abroad is the major challenge for the management of this disease.
