Punjab: A Minor Stabbed to Death in Land Disput

In this Attack his Parents and Brothers were Seriously Injured

A sensational case of murder has emerged in Gurdaspur district of Punjab. While nearly a dozen people together stabbed to death a minor teenager. The attackers did not leave the deceased's family too. In this attack, his parents and brothers were seriously injured. The land dispute is being there behind the incident.

This incident is of Bugna village of Gurdaspur. The deceased has been identified as 16-year-old Gurpreet Singh. The whole controversy was related with the 12 acres of land that was received by his mother from Nanihal of Gurpreet. Actually, some people had captured that land. Hardly the parents of Gurpreet had liberated that land.

But first, the occupants of the land wanted to grab that land again. They used to quarrel with Gurpreet's family every day. The brother of the deceased said that on Tuesday evening he and his father were sowing grain in the field. Only then the armed people working in the adjoining field attacked them.

During this attack, the accused held captive Gurpreet on his farm and stabbed him to death. Not only this, till his family reached there to save him, they were there. When his parents and brother Lovepreet arrived there, they were also attacked them.

Listening to the loud noise, nearby people ran towards the spot. During this time all the attackers escaped from there. After this, all the injured were taken to the hospital. Where doctors declared Gurpreet dead. In this matter, the police have registered a case against Ratan, Shamma, Dhira, Pamma, Dukha, Arsh, Manna, Sunni and Mahak.
