PUBG’s ‘Survive till Dawn’ mode

Tencent Games and PUBG Corporation recently launched a new gameplay mode called 'Zombie: Survive till Dawn' with the PUBG update 0.11.0. The new modes also bring in crossover collaboration between PUBG MOBILE and Resident Evil 2.

The 'Survive till Dawn' mode is available for a limited time period and will allow players to kill zombies in the Erangel region. Earlier in the week, PUBG servers were taken down for maintenance and to upload the new update.

The Zombie: Survive till Dawn mode brings several new improvements including weapons, skins, and vehicles.

As always, the new update brings with it several improvements, including new weapons, skins and most importantly the much-awaited zombies. Here's a detailed look at all the improvements available on the Zombie mode.

Special Enemies (Zombies)

Inarguably, the biggest feature in the latest update is the addition of zombies. Not only are they hard to beat, but these zombies are also terrifyingly formidable and spawn amazing weapons to take the battle forward.

Tyrant: Probably one of the most famed characters from the Resident Evil franchise. Players, be wary and cautious when you look to raid the air-drops. You might be greeted by Tyrant who will surely put up a serious fight. By defeating Tyrant you can get your hands on some quality weaponry which can be used to eliminate the rest of the zombies.

Licker: These look nasty and deliver a deadly blow when they attack. The moment you spot one, try attacking it with your squad before it kicks you out of the game.

G (Stage 1): One of the strongest and most menacing characters in the game, G (Stage 1) usually appears in the police station. The zombie is particularly strong and players will need a lot of ammunition to beat this one. However, once you beat him, it will be worth it eliminating this biggie can grant you some rare items like the M134 which has an insane firing rate.

General onslaught: Added to the special enemies in the PUBG MOBILE Universe, there will be a constant presence of zombies in the gameplay. The frequency and speed only increase when the night gets darker. The loot from their spawn, however, is not as rewarding as the ones from the bosses and special enemies.

Special zombie weapons

Zombie grenade: Are you cornered by your human enemies while the night is approaching? If you have access to zombie mode, you can simply throw one towards your enemy. The zombie grenade will generate more zombies near the enemy which could help you gain an upper hand.

Zombie vaccine: There are health kits, med kits, syringes and then there's the zombie vaccine. The zombie vaccine will help you heal very quickly in the middle of the zombie attack.

M134 Minigun: 200 rounds in one go – that' what the M134 Minigun can do. It takes 0.8 seconds to start firing and uses 7.62 mm ammo. Each round deals roughly 46 damage, and the firing rate is about 20 rounds per second. Perfect then to slay those annoying zombies.

Flamethrower: This is easily the coolest weapon in PUBG MOBILE right now. It deals continuous damage from gas bottles (available as a part of the loot). The flamethrower has a range of 10 meters and targets burn for an additional 4 seconds after being hit. It does around 45 damage per second to players and around 200 damage to zombies.

Compact knife: Want to stay low during a zombie attack? The compact knife deals 90 damage for each hit and 225 for headshots to other players. It also deals double damage to zombies.

PUBG's Zombie mode keeps the gamer on his toes in order to survive the night of terror.  However, once the zombies catch up, running away is the only option.
