Pro Kabaddi 2019 Players Auction

The Pro Kabaddi League, currently known as Vivo Pro Kabaddi League for sponsorship purpose, is a professional-level Kabaddi league in India. It was launched in 2014 and is broadcast on Star Sports.

The league's inception was influenced by the popularity of the Kabaddi tournament at the 2006 Asian Games. The format of the competition was influenced by the Indian Premier League. The Pro Kabaddi League uses a franchise-based model and its first season was held in 2014 with eight teams each of which having paid fees of up to US$250000 to join.

Star rider Siddharth Desai of Maharashtra has become the second most expensive player in the history of Kabaddi League. Siddhartha was bought by Telugu Titans for Monday at auction for 1.45 crore rupees. By the way, the record for the most expensive player is Monu Gayat's name. Monu was bought last year by Haryana Steelers for Rs 1.51 crore.

 Siddhartha's base price was Rs 30 lakh.

Siddharth had debuted in the league last year. He made 218 red points in 21 games. Last year U Mumba bought him for Rs 36 lakh. This time Siddhartha's base price was 30 lakh rupees. To join them, Tamil Thaliwaj and Telugu Titans are competing between them.

Following the bids of several franchises, Tamil Thalaiva bid for direct 10 million rupees. After this, the Telugu Titans increased Siddhartha into his team. Nitin Tomar was the second player to get the amount of more than Rs.1 crore. Poonari Paltan bought them for 1.2 crores.

Rahul Chaudhary was given the Tamil Thalaiva 94 lacs and Monu Gayat along with the UP warrior for Rs 93 lakh. Foreign players have been dominated by Iran's players. Muhammad Nabi Baksh of Iran bought Bengal Warriors for Rs 75.75 lakh. While Abohar Mihhani was included in the Telugu Titans with a bid of Rs 75 lakhs. 441 players from 13 countries participated in the auction.

Marquee players Siddharth Desai, Nitin Tomar, Rahul Chaudhari, Monu Goyat, Rishank Devadiga, and Sandeep Narwal were the top buys in the auction, picked up by Teams Telugu Titans, Puneri Paltans, Tamil Thalaiva, UP Yodha, and U Mumba. Mohammad Esmaeil Nabibakhsh was the highest valued international player, at Rs 77.75 lakh, bought by Bengal Warriors.
