According to the police, Ompal Singh, a resident of Sisoli village falling in Bhorakalan police station, went to his farm on Thursday and found his body hanging from a tree in the evening. The farmer’s family told the police that he had not been able to sell the sugarcane crop due to the enforced lockdown due to the epidemic, which caused him to go into depression. After the commotion of the villagers, the police, after persuading them, sent the body for postmortem and started investigating the case.

The BJP claimed that full payment would be given in 14 days, but the sugar mills have been closed, I warned the government about this 2 days ago. Imagine what would have been happening to the farmers families who were not paid during this financial crisis, but the BJP government does not even take the name of sugarcane payment in 14 days.”
