Oil companies have cut the prices of petrol and diesel today. Today petrol and diesel have become cheaper by 15 paise in Delhi. After this deduction, petrol in Delhi is being sold at Rs 101.34 and diesel at Rs 88.77 per liter.

Petrol has become more expensive by Rs 17 so far this year

Petrol was Rs 83.71 per liter on January 1, which is now at Rs 101.34. That is, in less than 8 months it has become expensive by Rs 17.84. At the same time, diesel has also become costlier from Rs 15.30 to Rs 88.77 per liter. Petrol should be reduced so that the common man can survive easily because now common man survival has become very difficult as rates of crude oil are getting increased day by day.

So people are facing issues because of petrol, every other thing is also increasing in the market. As we talk about oil even its rates are getting increased day by day.

Petrol in 20 states and diesel in 3 states still cross 100

Petrol has reached Rs 100 per liter in 21 states of the country. It has reached Rs 100 in all districts of Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Manipur, Telangana, Punjab, Sikkim, Orissa, Kerala, Delhi, Tamil Nadu, and Rajasthan. In Rajasthan petrol is the highest in Sriganganagar and cheapest in Delhi.

At the same time, petrol has crossed Rs 100 a liter in many places in Jammu and Kashmir, West Bengal, Pondicherry, Tripura, Nagaland, and Ladakh. On the other hand, when it comes to diesel, it has gone above Rs 100 in Orissa, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh.

Petrol and diesel rates are fixed daily

Oil marketing companies fix the rates of petrol and diesel daily after reviewing the prices. Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum, and Hindustan Petroleum revise the rates of petrol and diesel at 6 am.
