President Ram Nath Kovind met Prime Minister Modi’s Mother Heera Ben on Sunday and asked her well-being. The President arrived in Gujarat on Saturday on his two-day visit. Governor Acharya Devvrat and Cabinet Minister Pradeep Singh Jadeja received the President at the airport. The President and his wife stayed at the Raj Bhavan.
The President spent about half an hour at Pankaj Modi’s residence. He then reached the Mahavir Jain Aradhana Center near Koba village with his wife. He will take the blessings of Acharya Shri Padmasagar Suriji there. The trustee of the worship center, Shripal Shah, said that there are Jain temples, libraries and a museum in the premises in which many important articles related to Jain heritage are kept.
