Mumbai Police's crime branch could have summoned Shilpa Shetty after the arrest of Raj Kundra in the porn movies case, but now it has come to light that the actress has already resigned from husband Raj Kundra's company Viaan Industries. Shilpa is Kundra's partner in most of the business.

The police did not call Shilpa to the police station, but the crime branch itself reached her house on Friday. The police had also taken Raj Kundra along and for about 6 hours, Kundra and Shilpa were interrogated. Now quoting sources, it has come to know that the team of Crime Branch is busy in finding out how much Shilpa's involvement is in this whole case. A source privy to the investigation of the case has revealed that Shilpa is coming under the scanner because she was the director of 'Viaan Industries' and she had resigned from the post a few days back.

Shilpa Shetty was interrogated by Crime Branch

The team of the Crime Branch is also trying to find out in this entire investigation process whether Shilpa had any kind of benefit from the money of this company or not. According to reports, the crime branch is also probing Shilpa's bank accounts. Apart from this, the crime branch is also trying to find out how many days Shilpa Shetty worked as the director of 'Viaan Industries'. Shilpa has not yet been summoned in this case. However, in this case, the police can contact Shilpa again.

In the Raj Kundra case, the Crime Branch officer is also thoroughly scrutinizing the CCTV footage installed in 'Viaan Industries'. The investigation team is also looking for the person who deleted the data from the server hosting the digital content for the apps. The team of forensic experts is also trying to restore the deleted data. According to media reports, it is also learned that a huge amount was transferred from a betting company to Kundra's account. The crime branch team will also investigate whether the profits earned from the porn production project were used for betting.

According to media reports, Shilpa was fully aware of Raj Kundra's adult app Hotshots and its content. Kundra had called many times to Shilpa's bank account to earn a huge amount of money from this app. Mumbai Police investigation has revealed that Kundra's Hotshots app had more than 20 lakh subscribers. Shilpa is accused of deliberately hiding information about Kundra's wrongdoings. Shilpa is also a partner in his adult content company 'Kenrin'. Many girls have also said in their statement that they were talked to Shilpa before joining acting.

Raj Kundra reached the High Court as he called the arrest wrong

Raj Kundra has approached the Bombay High Court against his arrest. Kundra has termed his arrest as illegal. He says that the police did not give him a notice under 41A. Let us tell you that the notice of 41A is for production in front of the police. If the person complies with this notice, he cannot be arrested, he can only be taken for questioning.

Kundra is in police custody till July 27

Raj Kundra's police custody was ending on Friday, but the Esplanade Court has extended the custody till July 27. His colleague Ryan Thorpe has also been sent to custody till July 27. Kundra is currently in Byculla jail. Those in police custody are kept here. So far 11 people, including Raj Kundra, have been arrested in connection with the porn movies racket that surfaced in February 2021. Mumbai Police has made another disclosure during Kundra's court appearance on Friday. It was told by the police that Kundra was going to sell 121 porn videos internationally for Rs 9 crore.
