Anna Hazare Pulls Up Kejriwal: Delhi Chief Minister Kejriwal is now seen surrounded from all sides. Alam is that now his political guru Anna Hazare has written a letter and wrapped it well.
In the letter, Hazare slammed Kejriwal and wrote that you have become intoxicated with power. Anna has even said that Arvind Kejriwal had talked a lot in the book Swaraj, but his conduct is not visible.
Also, Hazare has instructed Kejriwal to shut down liquor shops in Delhi. Anna Hazare has said many things in his letter to Kejriwal and expressed his disappointment over the current situation.
Expressing disappointment, Anna has even written that there is a difference between Kejriwal's words and deeds.
Anna Hazare, while addressing Arvind Kejriwal in his letter, wrote, I am writing to you for the first time after you became the Chief Minister. It is sad to read the news that is coming about the Delhi government's liquor policy for the last several days.
Anna Hazare has slammed his favourite disciple a lot in this letter and has made fierce allegations. Anna has said that Kejriwal, you have become intoxicated with power.
Anna has written that your government has made a new liquor policy in Delhi, which seems that it can encourage the sale and drinking of liquor.
Also, he said that this will encourage corruption and it is not in the interest of the public. Even after this, you have brought such a liquor policy.
According to Anna, Kejriwal has lost his way. Anna Hazare also mentioned his movement in his letter and said that you have lost your way.
Hazare said that inspired by Mahatma Gandhi's idea of 'Aao Chalein Gaanv ki Or', I have dedicated my life to the village, society and the country.
For the last 47 years, I have been working for village development and agitating against corruption.
Reminding Arvind Kejriwal of the old days, Anna Hazare said that you have visited our village Ralegan-Siddhi. Here you praised the ban on liquor, bidis, cigarettes etc. Before joining politics, you had written a book called 'Swaraj'.
In this book, you had written big things about Gram Sabha, Liquor Policy. There was a lot of hope from you then, but after going into politics and becoming the Chief Minister, you have forgotten the ideal ideology.
Anna Hazare wrote that '10 years ago on 18 September 2012, there was a meeting of the team members in Delhi.
At that time Kejriwal talked about taking the political path. But you forgot that forming a political party was not the aim of our movement.
At that time the public had faith in Team Anna and I used to think that we should do the work of public education and public awareness.
If there was a work of public education, then this kind of liquor policy would not have been made in the country.
