Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Punjab today i.e. on Wednesday. PM Modi will announce development projects worth crores in Punjab's Ferozepur. PM Modi will lay the foundation stone of dozens of development projects costing more than Rs 42,750 crore from Ferozepur. The projects for which PM Modi will lay the foundation stone include Delhi-Amritsar-Katra Expressway, PGI Satellite Center in Ferozepur, 2 new medical colleges in Kapurthala and Hoshiarpur.
It is worth mentioning that PM Modi's visit is happening at a time when the assembly elections in Punjab have been ringed. In such a situation, PM Modi will work to woo people by showering gifts. Giving information about PM Modi's visit today, the PMO said that the projects for which PM Modi will lay the foundation stone include Delhi-Amritsar-Katra Expressway, Amritsar-Una section as well as four-laning of Mukerian-Talwara New Broad Gauge Railway line.
Apart from this, PM Modi will also lay the foundation stone of the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research Center in Ferozepur during his visit. This project will be built at a cost of about 490 crores. Also, PM Modi will lay the foundation stone of two new medical colleges in Kapurthala and Hoshiarpur during his visit. These will be built at a cost of about 325 crores.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also lay the foundation stone for two major road corridors in Punjab, according to the PMO. For this Delhi-Amritsar-Katra Expressway will be developed. Today PM Modi will announce the construction of PM Modi. Let us tell you, this 669 km long road will be built at a cost of about Rs 39,500 crore. With the construction of this road, the journey from Delhi to Amritsar and Amritsar to Katra will become very easy and simple. This will also save a lot of time. Apart from this, Greenfield Expressway will connect Sultanpur Lodhi, Goindwal Sahib, Khadoor Sahib, Tarn Taran and Vaishno Devi at Katra.
