MLA Aminul Islam objected to CM Himanta Biswa Sarma's statement over Kamakhya Temple Land Donation Case

AIUDF MLA Aminul Islam has said about Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma that he should not have made such a statement. Significantly, All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) MLA Aminul Islam has claimed that the Mughal rule Aurangzeb had donated the land for Maa Kamakhya temple. On which CM Himanta Biswa Sarma had said that whoever gives such a statement will have to go to jail.

MLA Aminul Islam has said that secularism existed during the rule of thousands of rulers, irrespe ctive of their religion. In such a situation, the statement of the CM of Assam that how we got secularism only after independence and how Muslims entered the country 300 years ago, is wrong.

Aminul said - CM Sarma should threaten Assam Sahitya Sabha

MLA Aminul Islam has also argued that according to the holy Assam book of Maheswar Neog, such a decree was issued by an officer of Aurangzeb. He said that instead of threatening me, CM Sarma should threaten Assam Sahitya Sabha to publish the Wrong Book.

Aurangzeb had donated land for hundreds of temples, says Aminul

It is noteworthy that MLA Aminul Islam had said in his statement that, Aurangzeb had donated land for hundreds of temples in India, Mughal rule Aurangzeb also donated 178 hectares of land to Jangamwadi temple of Varanasi. He had said that the grant of land for the Kamakhya temple is still kept in the British Museum.

On this remark of MLA Aminul Islam, Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma had said that such a statement will not be tolerated. The CM said that if Aminul Islam gives such a statement again, then he will also have to go to jail. CM Sarma had said that rhetoric against civilization, culture will not be tolerated.
