Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury on Friday made a big allegation on West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee. AR Chowdhury hit out at Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee, saying she was paving the way for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Goa. Continuing the attack on Mamata Banerjee, the Congress leader said that she is indirectly supporting the BJP.
AR Chowdhury further said that this attitude of Trinamool Congress will benefit BJP. He said that the formation of a federal front would benefit the BJP in Goa. Congress leader AR Chaudhary said that West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee thinks that the performance of Congress in Goa will not be better. But, she has forgotten that Congress helped her become a Union minister.
Let us inform that following the Congress' defeat in West Bengal's assembly elections this year, there are constant verbal attacks between Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury and Mamata Banerjee. Recently, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury called TMC the B team of BJP. At the national level, on the issue of expansion of TMC, Adhir Ranjan had said that TMC had got only 4 percent votes in Bengal. Bengal does not mean Hindustan, Hindustan does not mean Bengal, TMC should clear this misunderstanding.
It is noteworthy that in September, former Goa Chief Minister Luizinho Faleiro joined the TMC after resigning from the primary membership of Congress. A month before this, Silchar Congress MP in Assam and former president of All India Mahila Congress Sushmita Dev had joined TMC. After joining the West Bengal ruling party, both were given Rajya Sabha seats.
