On Thursday, in both the Houses of Parliament (Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha), opposition MPs including Congress created a ruckus, due to which the proceedings of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha have been adjourned till 2 pm.

Talking to the media, Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha and Congress Mallikarjun Kharge said that Ajay Mishra could have kept quiet if he did not have to answer, but intimidation of a minister does not suit anyone. He said that he himself should have resigned after the SIT report came. Our demonstration for that and raising the matter in the House should not have happened.

Along with this, Congress MP Deepender Singh Hooda gave Adjournment Motion Notice in Rajya Sabha regarding Lakhimpur Kheri case and taking immediate resignation of Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra Teni. In his adjournment motion notice, he has demanded that the government should immediately take the resignation of Minister Ajay Teni.
