Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut has made a big statement amid the ongoing tussle over the Chief Minister's post in the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Shiv Sena. Raut has said that the Chief Minister will belong to Shiv Sena. Raut said that his party can muster majority even without BJP. Attacking BJP leaders, the Shiv Sena MP said that any man or organization drowned in arrogance is drowned. Making an important statement, Raut said that Congress also would not want the BJP to get power.

Sanjay Raut also said that the public wants the Chief Minister of Shiv Sena. Earlier, Congress MLA Rituraj Patil had reached Uddav Thakeray's residence in Matoshri  late last night to meet Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray. According to reports, Rituraj Patil reached Matoshree around 12 pm. The meeting between the two leaders lasted for about 2 hours. Patil did not answer the media's questions after exiting Matoshree and left quietly in the car. Let us tell you that Rituraj Patil is the grandson of DY Patil, one of the big leaders of Maharashtra and he won from South Kolhapur seat on Congress ticket.

In the results of the Maharashtra Assembly elections on October 24, the BJP emerged as the single largest party by winning 105 seats, while its ally won 56 seats. In this way, the BJP-Shiv Sena alliance has easily crossed the majority mark, but there is a tussle between the two parties over the CM's chair. In these elections, the Nationalist Congress Party led by Sharad Pawar got 54 seats while the Congress had to satisfy with 44 seats. The main contest was between the BJP-Shiv Sena alliance and the Congress-NCP alliance in these elections.
