Amid all the speculations 56-year-Old Bhajan Lal Sharma has been named as new CM of Rajasthan. As sources suggested Vasundhara Raje Proposed the Name of Bhajan Lal Sharma, which was agreed unequivocally by all BJP Legislators.
Bhajan Lal Sharma won from Sanganer Constituency of Jaipur with a margin of 48,000+ votes. This was his first successful election feat as a candidate.
Bhajan Lal has a vast experience in Electoral Management and has served as General Secretary of BJP for 4 consecutive terms.
Bhajan Lal Sharma holds a PG Degree and hails from Bharatpur District of Rajasthan
Diya Kumari (MLA from Vidhyadhar Nagar, Jaipur) and Prem Chand Bairwa (MLA from Dudu) were named as deputy Chief Ministers.
As per sources, Rajnath Singh Informed Vasundhara about the decision of senior leadership in advance and convinced her to propose name of new CM.
Bhajan Lal Sharma after being named as leader of BJP legislative party, stated- “we will take everyone along and will ensure development of the state.”
