On Monday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah made a statement in the Rajya Sabha about the previous attack on Asaduddin Owaisi's convoy. He claimed that Owaisi did not have a program in Hapur and that the administration was not aware of his departure from that route.
Amit Shah has asked Owaisi to accept the security provided by the Owaisi government. The Home Minister said in the House that the MPs would return from public relations on February 3, 2022, at 5:30 p.m. Then two unknown individuals opened fire on his vehicle. Three people were present when the incident occurred. In Pilkhuwa, an FIR has been filed in connection with the event. It is currently being discussed.

He claimed that by acting quickly, two suspects were apprehended, and two unlawful firearms and an Alto automobile were recovered from them. The forensic team is collecting evidence and performing a comprehensive inspection of the car and the crime scene.

According to Amit Shah, the federal government has issued directives to provide security to Owaisi multiple times in the past, following an assessment by central security services. On Thursday, Asaduddin Owaisi's car was attacked by two thugs at the Hapur toll plaza while he was returning from a public engagement in Meerut. 3-to 4 bullets were fired at him, the automobile marks of which were tweeted by Owaisi himself.
