Basti, Uttar Pradesh: Police have revealed the triple murder in the cantonment police station area of Basti district of Uttar Pradesh. On the night of 8 and 9 January, this sensational incident was carried out.
Due to loot and mutual murders from the potato trader, this incident was carried out by fellow truck drivers. Potato businessman Aslam, truck driver Rajkumar Gautam, and operator Soni were strangled to death with sharp weapons.
Police arrested three accused
When the police started investigating the matter and started searching for the footage of the toll plaza, the truck drivers Ajit Singh, Golu Yadav, and Shilu were involved in the murder.

Two trucks, two knives, a rod, and an illegal vehicle used in the murder have been recovered by the police. Police have not been able to recover the lost money so far. Accused Golu Yadav gave the looted money to his brother Manish. The police team has been sent to Unnao to recover the money.
Accused truck drivers hatched a conspiracy
Please tell that Aslam, a potato merchant from Bihar, used to come to Kanpur Mandi to buy potatoes and onions by truck. The interrogated accused told that they met the businessman on the evening of January 8 at a Dhaba in Kushinagar.
After the conversation, the accused made a plan to rob the businessman. When the potato merchant and the driver proceeded with the truck, the accused put their trucks behind the merchant’s truck.
The first three truck drivers and potato traders of the Bastar’s Harraiya toll plaza drank tea, after which they proceeded to Kanpur together. After going ahead, after overtaking the truck of the merchant, the accused stopped the truck by saying that their truck was punctured.
As soon as the driver Sonu came down from the truck, he was strangled to death with a knife and threw the corpse into the bushes on the side of the highway.
