JAIPUR: Police officer Virendra Singh has been suspended for lathi-charge after killing Hawker in Khonagoriyan police station area of ​​Jaipur. BJP leaders staged a protest at the police station demanding the suspension of the police officer. The police administration suspended the police officer and assured to pay compensation of five lakh rupees to the victim's family. After this, the picket was ended. Many senior leaders joined.

On Thursday, a hacker named Munna,  was killed by a man named Rafiq. The atmosphere had become tense after the murder. The police leaders lathi-charged when the BJP leaders and activists arrived at the Khongorian police station to protest against the demand to arrest the accused. Many activists, including former Parliamentary Secretary Kailash Verma, were injured during this period. At the same time, former minister Kanhaiya Lal Meena started taking the injured Kailash Verma in his car and taking him to the hospital, then the policemen also misbehaved with him and sat in the police station. Police also beat up journalists who were coverage of the incident.

After this, many senior party leaders reached the police station. He suspended the guilty policemen and started a dharna demanding compensation money to the victim's family and government job to the family member. In the late evening, the top police officials gave positive assurances on their demands. After this the picket was ended.
