The Prime Minister was received at the airport by US officials and Indian Ambassador Taranjit Singh Sandhu. Sandhu greeted Modi by saying Namaste USA. At the same time, a large number of Indian community people were also present to welcome Modi and despite the rain in Washington, there was no lack of enthusiasm even in the rain.

Modi is staying at Hotel Billard which is situated in Washington, where he was also seen responding to people's greetings. Modi will also meet the CEO of Apple Tim Cook and heads of companies such as Qualcomm, Adobe, and Blackstone at the hotel today. This will be followed by bilateral talks with Prime Minister Scott Morrison of Australia and Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga of Japan. After this, Modi will meet the Vice President of America Kamala Harris. In this, the common interests of India and America will be discussed. Modi had left for US at around 11 am on Wednesday. During this visit, his plane did not fly over Afghanistan but instead used Pakistan's airspace. It is being told that this decision has been taken due to security reasons. This made Modi's travel time longer, but he used this time only to handle government business and continued to work inside the flight as well. Modi himself shared the photo and said that the advantage of a long flight is that you get a chance to deal with some files.

Modi will meet Biden tomorrow

The Prime Minister will meet with US President Joe Biden in Washington on September 24. This will be the first time the two leaders will meet face to face. Also, there will be a meeting of Quad leaders at the White House on Friday itself. Modi will then leave for New York and will speak at the 76th session of the General Assembly there on 25 September.
