For this, the Yogi government is starting a self-sufficient Uttar Pradesh campaign. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch this campaign. In this regard, Principal Secretary, Department of Micro and Medium Industries of Uttar Pradesh, Navneet Sehgal said that in this biggest employment management program so far, two lakh migrant labourers will be handed over appointment letters. Many of these will hand over PM appointment letters themselves.

According to Navneet Sehgal, on May 29, a meeting of representatives of major industrial institutions was held under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Representatives of the Indian Industries Association, FICCI, Small Industries Bharti and several manufacturing institutions were involved in this. It was decided in the meeting that a large number of migrant labourers will be provided employment. An MoU was also signed in the meeting.

Principal Secretary, Department of Micro and Medium Industries said that 11 lakh migrant employees will be given employment in all institutions. The Prime Minister will give appointment letters to two lakh of these workers. He said that under the Self-Reliant India Package, more than 20 per cent additional funds are being provided by banks as loans to help small, micro and medium industrial units. Navneet Sehgal said that PM Modi will connect people from 6 different districts of the state through video conferencing and will start the biggest campaign to provide employment. Let us know that all the industrial units that were shut down in lockdown are being started again after June 18. There are a total of 7.08 lakh industrial units in which around 42 lakh workers are to be accommodated.
