PM Narendra Modi addressed the country amid tensions on the border with China and the ongoing war against the Coronavirus. PM Narendra Modi is going to address the country for the sixth time in the Corona period. CM focus was on the forward strategy of the Coronavirus epidemic, Unlock 2.0 and self-reliant India.  CM announced the extension of PM Garib Kalyan Yojana till November. Significantly, tensions with China persist after violent clashes in Galwan Valley, a third meeting was held today at the Corps Commander level, while on the other hand the Corona virus figures are rising across the country.

Government is able to provide food grains to the poor only by Farmers and Honest taxpayers- PM

The Prime Minister said, we have more work and after the rainy season mainly in the agricultural sector.  There is a slight slowness in other sectors.

PM Modi said, today if the government is able to provide free food grains to the poor to the needy, then the credit goes to two sections.  First – the hardworking farmers of our country and our food providers.  And secondly, the honest taxpayers of our country. So today the poor of the country are able to cope with such a big crisis. I am with every poor, every farmer of the country, every taxpayer from the heart.

Keeping all these things in mind, it has been decided that the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana should now be extended till Diwali and Chhath Puja. PM Modi also said, the expansion of Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana will cost more than 90 thousand crore rupees.  If you add the expenses of the last three months to it, then it becomes about one and a half lakh crores.

The PM reviewed a high-level meeting before his address.  PM reviewed the preparations against covid-19.  During this time there was also a discussion about how long the vaccine could be available. PM Modi said the rules were followed very seriously during the lockdown. Now governments, local body entities, citizens of the country need to show the same vigilance again.

PM Modi addressed the citizens of India for Coronavirus to the storm, grasshopper attack and talked about the soldiers killed in Ladakh.  Even before the PM's address, the Ministry of Home Affairs has also released the guidelines for Unlock 2.0. Along with this, work is being done on arranging one country one ration card in the country.
