The new building of the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly has a colorful glimpse of the culture of Jharkhand, on the other hand, the building is equipped with high-tech and all the state-of-the-art facilities. This is the first such assembly in the country which is completely paperless. Computers and tabs will be used here for all the actions. For this, a tab has been put on the seat of every MLA and no MLA will need paper to say and vote.

There are currently 81 members in the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly, but keeping in mind the future, a seating arrangement of one hundred twenty two members has been made here. The new building of Jharkhand Legislative Assembly has a complete arrangement for water harvesting and energy conservation. Solar power will be supplied in this building. Here, small things have been taken care of to ensure smooth functioning of the assembly. The special thing is that the design of the building has taken full care of the soul, water-forest and land of Jharkhand.

After 10 o'clock this morning, Prime Minister Modi will reach Ranchi and will first give the gift of his new assembly to the people of Jharkhand. This hitech building of Jharkhand Assembly is special in many other ways. This assembly building is built on 39 acres in Dhurwa, Ranchi. The 3-storey building is built at a cost of 465 crores which is built on 57,220 square meters. It is the tallest domed assembly building in the country. Its dome height is around 39.5 meters.

The foundation stone of this building was laid on 12 June 2015, after which the new building of the assembly building was completed in record time. Apart from this, PM Modi will inaugurate Kisan Maandhan Yojana, Retail Business and Self-Employment Pension Scheme and Eklavya Model School at a function held at Prabhat Tara Maidan, Ranchi. With this, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the multimodal port at Sahebganj. Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of the Sahibganj multi-model terminal in April 2017.
