Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate three key projects, including the ‘Kisan Suryodaya Yojana’ for the farmers, through video conferencing in his home state Gujarat today. The Kisan Suryodaya Yojana was recently announced by the Gujarat government under the leadership of Chief Minister Vijay Rupani to provide power supply for irrigation during the day.
Under this scheme, farmers will be able to avail power supply from 5 am to 9 pm. The state government has allocated a budget of Rs 3,500 crore to set up infrastructure under the scheme by 2023.

The Prime Minister will inaugurate the pediatric hospital associated with the U.N. Mehta Institute of Cardiology and Research Center. Apart from this, he will also launch a mobile application for tele-cardiology at Ahmedabad Civil Hospital.
Currently, UN Mehta Institute of Cardiology is undergoing expansion:
The UN Mehta Institute of Cardiology is currently undergoing expansion at a cost of Rs 470 crore. The number of beds will increase from 450 to 1251 after the completion of the expansion project. The institute will also become the largest single super-specialty cardiac educational institution in the country and one of the largest single super-specialty cardiac hospitals in the world.
PM Modi will also inaugurate the Girnar ropeway:
PM Modi will also inaugurate the Girnar ropeway, which will initially have 25-30 cabins, a capacity of 8 people per cabin. It will take 7.5 minutes from the ropeway to cover 2.3 kilometers. The project was conceived two decades ago but recently it has been completed at a cost of Rs 130 crore.
