PM Modi Issued Rs 125 Coin of Prabhupada Swami, said – Swamiji was a True Patriot

Modi released a special commemorative coin of Rs 125 on the occasion of the 125th birth anniversary of Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi released a special commemorative coin of Rs 125 on the occasion of the 125th birth anniversary of Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. During this, he said through video conferencing that we are celebrating the 125th birth anniversary of Srila Prabhupada. It is as if the happiness and contentment of sadhana mix together. This feeling is being felt by millions of followers of Srila Prabhupada Swami and millions of millions of Krishna devotees all over the world today.

He said that we all know that Prabhupada Swami was not only a supernatural devotee of Krishna, but he was also a great devotee of Bharat. He fought in the freedom struggle of the country. He even refused to take his diploma from the Scottish College in support of the non-cooperation movement. The eternal sanskar of India is 'Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah Sarve Santu Niramaya', this idea has become the resolution of millions of people through ISKCON.

ISKCON told the world the meaning of faith

Modi said that today there are hundreds of ISKCON temples in different countries of the world, how many Gurukuls are keeping Indian culture alive. ISKCON has told the world that for India, faith means zeal, enthusiasm and gaiety and faith in humanity.

Swami Prabhupada established more than 100 temples

Swami Prabhupada founded ISKCON. This is commonly known as the Hare Krishna movement. ISKCON propagated Vedic literature like Gita all over the world. Also got them translated into 89 languages. Swami Prabhupada founded more than 100 temples and wrote many books showing the world the path of Bhakti Yoga.

ISKCON movement spread in many countries only after 11 years of establishment

According to the ISKCON website, it is a part of the Brahma Madhva Gaudiya Vaishnava sect, one of the four Vaishnava sects. The teachings and practices of ISKCON were taught by Chaitanya Mahaprabhu (1486–1532) along with his brother Nityananda Prabhu and six of his associates. In just 11 years after the establishment of the ISKCON movement, it spread to many countries all over the world.
