Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is visiting America, met US Vice President Kamala Harris on Thursday night. This was the first time that an Indian-American Vice President has met an Indian Prime Minister. During this meeting, Kamala Harris also raised the issue of terrorism and Pakistan's role in it. He said that many terrorist organizations are present in Pakistan. Harris has advised Pakistan to take action against terrorist organizations so that they do not become a threat to the security of America and India.

Modi said thank you for welcoming

Kamala Harris also agreed with Modi's statement on the issue of cross-border terrorism. At the same time, there was an opinion that India has been a victim of terrorism for many decades and now there is a need to check and keep a close watch on the aid being received from Pakistan to terrorist organizations. In a discussion with Harris, Prime Minister Modi said that thank you for welcoming me and my delegation. I had a chance to talk to you a few months back. This was the time when India was facing the second wave of Corona. Thank you for the hand you extended to help.

Modi said- it is important to be elected as your Vice President

In a discussion with Kamala Harris, Modi further said that it is important to be elected as your Vice President in America. It is an inspiration to the world. Together you and Biden strengthen Indo-US relations. We want to honor you, I want to welcome you to India. Your victory journey is historic. Modi also said that India and America are natural partners as the world's largest and oldest democracy. We have similar values. Our coordination and cooperation are also increasing continuously.

Happiness over India's decision to export vaccines

Welcoming Modi, the US Vice President said the need to give new heights to the strong ties of the two countries. He said that I am very happy with the decision of India that it is going to export the vaccine again. They're now more than one crore people are being vaccinated every day and this number is increasing rapidly. When Covid became dangerous in India, America stood by it in this difficult time.

Referring to security matters, Harris said that both of us value free trade and free routes in the Indian and the Pacific oceans and are working in this direction. The Government of India is also taking the issue of climate change seriously. We are confident that together the two countries will enhance people-to-people contacts and it will have a good impact on the world.
