About 1400 families, who have been dreaming of their residence in the city for a long time, will soon be able to enter the house. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will provide the keys of the house and possession certificate to the heads of these families living on rent in the program organized in Manbela.
The Chief Minister will inaugurate the houses built in Manbela under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) Urban on behalf of the Gorakhpur Development Authority (GDA) at 5 pm on November 21.
In order to provide a roof to the people living on rent in the city, the 1488 Prime Minister's house has been constructed by GDA. Allotment of these houses has also been done through lottery. The work inside the houses has also been completed and the GDA officials were waiting for the approval of the Chief Minister for the inauguration. Time has been given for the launch by the Chief Minister's Office. As soon as the program is decided, the officials of the authority have intensified the preparations.
GDA Vice President Prem Ranjan Singh inspected the spot and took stock of the preparations. The launch program will be organized in the PMAY campus itself in Manbela and about 1400 allottees are being called in it.
The Chief Minister will hand over the house keys and possession certificates to some of the beneficiaries here. After this, GDA employees will give possession certificates to all the allottees. For the convenience of the people living here, free Wi-Fi is also being arranged by GDA. So far 40 allottees have made the full payment. Other allottees are depositing the instalment.
The allottees were waiting for the possession of the Prime Minister's residence for the last one and a half years. Meanwhile, they were also bearing the rent of the house but by getting possession of the house, they will be free from the burden of rent.
