On Tuesday, the Petrol prices fell after a gap of five days in various cities of the country. The petrol prices have remained at the lowest level of three months for the past several days. The price of diesel was also reduced by up to five paise on Tuesday. The petrol prices fell by 5 paise in the national capital Delhi is being sold at the rate of Rs 71.89 per liter. Diesel price in the city is reduced by five paise to Rs 64.65 per liter.
The petrol in Noida adjacent to Delhi is being sold at the rate of Rs 73.82 per liter and Diesel is available at Rs 64.97 per liter. The petrol price in Ghaziabad has come down to Rs 73.69 per liter and Diesel is available at Rs 64.84 per liter. While Petrol was priced at Rs 72 per liter in Gurugram and Diesel was priced at Rs 64.08 per liter.
The petrol prices also recorded a decrease of four paise in Mumbai. The price of petrol in the city fell to Rs 77.56 per liter on Tuesday. The price of diesel also declined by five paise. To buy one liter of diesel in the city, you have to pay Rs 67.75 per liter. In Kolkata, the price of petrol decreased by five paise. To buy a liter of petrol in the city, you have to pay Rs 77.53. The price of one liter of diesel in the city came down to Rs 66.97 per liter. Chennai, the capital of Tamil Nadu, also recorded a drop in petrol prices to Rs 74.68. The price of diesel in the city remained at Rs 68.27 per liter.
