After this reduction, petrol prices in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai have come down to Rs 74.89, Rs 77.55, Rs 80.54 and Rs 77.86 per liter respectively. This is the second consecutive day when petrol prices have come down. Earlier on Thursday, petrol price was cut by 5 to 6 paise.

No change in Diesel Price
However, the price of diesel remained stable for the fourth consecutive day. The price of diesel in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai remains the same at Rs 66.04, Rs 68.45, Rs 69.27 and Rs 69.81 per liter respectively. Meanwhile, there has been a sharp trend in the price of crude oil in the international market for two days.

Price of Crude Oil
The February delivery contract for Brent crude, the benchmark crude oil on the Intercontinental Exchange, was trading at $ 64.62 a barrel, up 0.65 percent from the previous session, while crude oil traded up $ 64.71 a barrel during trading. Has gone. At the same time, American Light Crude West Texas Intermediate's January delivery contract was trading up 0.52 percent at $ 59.49 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange, while the WTI rose to $ 59.61 a barrel during trading.

At the same time, commodity market experts point out that the market is moving steadily due to the possibility of resolving the trade dispute between the US and China for 18 months, due to which the price of crude oil has gone up to nearly three months high.
