Petrol and diesel prices record a fall for the second consecutive day on Friday. Petrol in Delhi and Mumbai have got cheaper by 21 paise a liter and in Kolkata, petrol prices have been reduced by 20 paise and in Chennai, it fell by 23 paise per liter.

According to IndianOil website, petrol prices in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Chennai have declined to Rs 72.63, Rs 74.68, Rs 78.23 and Rs 75.40 per liter, respectively. While, if we talk about diesel prices, oil marketing companies have cut 9 paise in Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai and 10 paise per liter in Chennai. In the four metro cities, it has gone up to Rs 66.47, Rs 68.23, Rs 69.65 and Rs 70.26 per liter respectively.

Petrol Fell by 37 Paise

In the national capital Delhi, petrol has been 37 paise cheaper in two days. Let us tell you that on petrol in Delhi the petrol was 16 paise and the price had come down to Rs. 73. After the cut on Thursday, the price of petrol in Delhi came to Rs. 72.84. Apart from this, petrol prices in Kolkata, Mumbai, and Chennai were Rs 74.88, Rs 78.44 and Rs 75.63 per liter, respectively. In the four metro cities, diesel prices were at 66.56 rupees, 68.32 rupees, 69.74 rupees and Rs 70.36 per liter respectively.

Indeed, due to the decline in the crude oil prices in the international market, the price of petrol and diesel has decreased in India. According to commodity market analysts, the positive trend created by the hopes of solutions to business issues between the US and China has fueled the price of oil. Explain that India is a major importer of oil and here, the price of crude oil in the international market is a big factor in determining the price of petrol and diesel.
