According to Rajasthan BJP MLA Madan Dilawar, those who are burning the country in opposition to the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) are enemies of the country. Madan said that they did not have the right to live in this country. If they love Pakistan then they should go there, if they love Bangladesh they should go there and if both countries do not want to take them, they can drown in the Indian Ocean.

After the Namaz prayers, the people of Muslim community came out on the streets of Jodhpur to protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act. Although the police had made security arrangements in view of this, the youths who had flocked from different areas looted and broke the glass of the vehicles in the name of protest. Stone pelting were also reported at many places.

Crowds gathered at Jalori Gate and Sojati Gate area looted clothes from several shops at the main road and broke the glass of cars in Sardarpura area. Similarly, in the inner clock tower area of ​​the city, two communities came face to face, which once deepened the tension. However, the situation was soon brought under control. In Tripolia, Gacha Bazaar, New Road area also, the youth tried to spoil the atmosphere in the name of picketing. However, amidst the strong police arrangements, they could not make a big incident. Due to traffic jams and route divert, the common man suffered a lot. DCP Dharmendra Singh Yadav of Jodhpur said that the identification is being done on the basis of CCTV footage. The police is preparing to register a case against them.
