PCB Limit Pakistani Players to Participate in Four Foriegn T20 Leagues

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has issued a new No Objection Certificate (NOC), according to which players playing for Pakistan will now be able to participate in a maximum of four leagues only. According to the Pakistan Cricket Board, now all players included in the central contract will be allowed to play only in four foreign leagues. It also includes Pakistan Super League (PSL) which means that Pakistan players will be able to participate in any three leagues played abroad.

The PCB issued a statement informing about this. It states that as per the new policy, the request of NOC will be made through the International Cricket Operations Department and the head coach-team management of the national team. "According to the World NOC Policy, the board will have the authority to approve the final stage of the process," he said.

Not only this, but PCB has also placed special conditions for acquiring NOC. He said that all the players who play regularly with the white ball but do not play with the red ball will be required to play in 50 overs and 20 overs. If they do not do this, then NOC will not be available.

Significantly, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has banned Indian cricketers from playing in any foreign league. In the Indian Premier League in which all foreign players play, the Government of India has banned the participation of Pakistan players.
