Patna AIIMS Doctors Clashed Over Objectionable Remarks on Female Colleagues

The incident of assault between doctors and patients is common throughout the country, but on Monday, what happened at Patna AIIMS also left the patients stunned. Actually, the doctors in Patna AIIMS clashed with each other. Later the information of the incident was given to the police. The police reached the spot and registered an FIR and started the investigation. In the investigation of the police so far, it has been found that the fight took place between Dr. Shailesh Mukul, former head of the Dental Department and Dr. Veena. Doctor Veena and some other doctors were also involved in this incident. The police is currently investigating this entire case. It is being told that the main reason for the quarrel is the mail sent by Dr. Shailesh Mukul in which he had made objectionable allegations against his female colleagues. A warrant for his arrest was also issued on this basis, but he got bail in the meantime.

This is not the first incident of doctors being beaten in Patna. Shortly before, a group of junior doctors at IGIMS in Patna had gone on hooliganism. These junior doctors beat up a policeman. Actually, the soldier posted in IGMS Anil Kumar stopped a junior doctor going on a bike without a helmet, then the whole group started fighting. It can be clearly seen in the pictures that some students dragged the policeman after beating him.

In Patna, it is mandatory for a person sitting on a bike to wear a helmet. These people had not only beaten up the police personnel but had also stopped the functioning of the hospital. Because of this, the patients present there had to face a lot of problems. The police had detained some of the accused students in this case and was investigating the case. The police had said on this incident that strict action will be taken against those who are guilty. One of these four junior doctors was also the son of Vijay Kumar Singh, working at Gandhi Maidan police station.
