Pakistan Railway Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has also become corona infected, in a statement issued on Monday by the Railway Ministry, it was stated that the corona report of Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has come positive, although he has no symptoms, but will remain in self isolation for two weeks after the report came positive. Significantly, the number of corona patients in Pakistan has crossed 1 lakh figure and according to the report released on Sunday, the total number of infected in Pakistan is 1 lakh 1 thousand 173, whereas so far 2032 people have died from Corona. It should be noted that Pakistan has become the 16th country, where the number of patients are more than 1 lakh.

Pakistani Health Ministry said on Sunday that 33 thousand 465 people found corona positive have been cured. So far, 37,090 cases have been reported in Punjab of Pakistan, 38,108 in Sindh, 13,487 in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, 6,221 in Balochistan, 4,979 in Islamabad, 927 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 361 cases in PoK. In the past, Chaudhary Ali Akhtar, the provincial MLA of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, was also found infected with Corona, his party spokesman said that Akhtar was in his home in Quarantine and had tested himself after showing signs of the virus, whereas Akhtar was elected from Faisalabad III of the Punjab Assembly in the 2018 elections.
